Ms. Mooneyhan's News

August 26, 2008

Welcome back to school!  We had a wonderful two days last week, and I know that this week will be even better.  It is always so much fun to meet new friends and to be able to interact with each other.  Many of your children are already friends, either through Mother's Morning Out, church, or neighborhood connections.  We hope to assist in building special realtionships that will last throughout adulthood.

In these initial days of school, we do not structure our days as we will after Labor Day.  Our initial focus is the acclimation to new people, a new environment, and a new routine.  We will play a lot, sing and do finger plays, go to music, library, and Spanish and have a special art lesson.  We will learn many things about our classmates.

Mrs. McLean and I thank you for this opportunity to provide your precious child with his/her first experience in education.  We appreciate the trust you have placed in us and in All Saints', and we will always strive to exceed your expectations.
