MUSIC FIELD TRIP

Our 3rd and 4th grade students are participating in a wonderful interactive music education series provided by Carnegie Hall (linkup.carnegiehall.org). They will be attending and performing at the Young People's Concert at the Koger Center in Columbia on Monday, February 27th. We will leave at 9:00 a.m. and return to school by dismissal time. The performance time is at 11:15. We will eat lunch out (chaperone/driver's choice) and then head back to school. Students will need to bring lunch money that day. We are looking forward to a great day interacting with the Philharmonic Symphony.
SCISA Music Festival in March
It is also time to sign up for a solo in voice, piano, or another instrument for our SCISA MUSIC FESTIVAL on March 8th. All interested students should contact Mrs. Nelson. Preference will be given to students who have had at least three years of lessons. Only three may sign up for reach category, so not everyone can participate in any given year. At this time, consideration is also being given to a large and small choral ensemble attending.
