Attendance

Every student should attend school on a regular basis. Family vacations should be planned to correspond with school vacation dates. While teachers will do all that is possible to help students make up missed work, there is no way to adequately make up for lost time in class. State law requires that students miss not more than 10 unexcused days and 10 excused days. A student must be present at least three hours to be counted present for the day.
